When The New York Occasions reported that DC Movies’ plans to have Keaton reprise his position as Batman in “The Flash,” some followers took it as Keaton could be Batman completely within the DC Prolonged Universe.
However Brooks Barnes, the author of the piece, has clarified that Keaton will solely be in “one movie.”
“Been offline (shifting flats) and return to see this Michael Keaton craziness,” he wrote. “I used to be referring to the *one movie* that Keaton has been introduced as being in, not a set of his personal Batman movies. If I had data on him past ‘The Flash,” I’d have clearly put it in my article.”
In the meantime, “The Flash” would not come out till November 2022, so followers should wait.
Keaton performed Bruce Wayne/Batman in Tim Burton’s 1989 movie “Batman” after which the sequel “Batman Returns” in 1992. He was finally changed by Val Kilmer within the 1995 movie “Batman Eternally,” after Keaton refused to proceed starring because the superhero after Burton was dropped as director of the franchise.
“The Batman,” which stars Robert Pattinson because the caped crusader, is scheduled to come back out in October 2022.
